Photographing highly polished products

Products that have a highly reflective surface can be a nightmare to photograph. Everything gets reflected, including the photographer. The result is not professional and won’t attract potential customers.

To get around this problem a light tent, specifically manufactured to stop unwanted reflections and give a clean image which will sit well on any website or company brochure. Good even lighting with a variety of flash heads and modifiers are selected and positioned for the best results. To add security of the image quality the shots are taken with a tethered link to a Mac computer. Here the detail can be seen immediately the camera has been fired.
